Jennifer Levine lives and creates her work in Montclair art her Church Street studio. She has a BA in Jewish Studies from UMASS/Amherst, and also completed a two year conservatory program at the San Francisco School of Circus Arts. Levine has worked as a classroom teacher in private schools for over twenty years. Currently, she is the Director of Education at Temple Emanu-El, a Conservative Synagogue in Closter, NJ. Children know and love her Princess Moxie performance and book series. Her theme-portraits and large scale paintings on canvas and wood convey the same whimsical themes of her publications, recordings and performance art.
