Jen Hitchings was born and raised in Lincoln Park, New Jersey. She received her BFA in Painting & Drawing from Purchase College, SUNY in Westchester County, NY in 2011. In addition to her visual art making, she is a self-taught musician and goes by the name Jen Jones when performing. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY and plans on going to grad school for her MFA in painting and/or for an MA in curatorial studies.
