Gregg Rosen connected with his talent as an artist at age five, drawing images for his grandfather. He later attended New York CityÕs School of Visual Arts, studying under Judith Linhares, Nachume Miller, and Marilyn Minter. Gregg cites seeing a Richard Diebenkorn retrospective at the Whitney as a turning point in the way he would see and objectify the painted surface. His captivating structural landscapes are interpretations based on the linearity and structures of landscapes. Gregg is featured in a new book called Abstractions 2010 -- a collection of the work of 20 contemporary abstract artists.
